Individual Therapy
Therapeutic Approach
As a therapist I love getting to know about you and your life. My goals are to help bring on those needed "aha" moments, and help you be as at peace as possible throughout the transplant process. This applies to patients and caregivers!

The combination of being a transplant--connected person and struggling with anxiety, depression, sobriety, or medical trauma is complex and often leaves people feeling overwhelmed and alone. We can get to the core of things faster due to my transplant expertise.
I’m not a “and how does that make you feel?” therapist.

I love working with teens and adults who are seeking to understand themselves more. I pull from various therapeutic techniques that will disrupt the default loops that are no longer serving you. Together we're identifying themes, making connections, building insight, and finding the tools that work for you.

Modalities I utilize include: Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT, Exposure Response Prevention, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing

At the end of each session you'll walk away clear about what you're focusing on until our next meeting. Every session builds on the next. I find that clients who put in work outside of our sessions are the most successful.

A group for transplant patients and living donors who are ready to understand and manage their anxious thoughts and behaviors together. This is a structured, skills--focused space. You will learn to recognize unhelpful thinking patterns, understand how anxiety is driven like a habit, challenge anxious thoughts, and test out new ways of responding.
Each session builds on the last. We'll be working on how these frameworks and tools apply to real life, with particular focus on medical contexts.

The fee for this group is $360 ($60/session)
There are two options for payment to secure your spot:
1) Pay in full for 10% off
or
2) Pay for half ($180) to register, and payment for the remainder of sessions will be due at the halfway mark to continue participation
